#Driver failed to install device not found drivers

If you do not see the list of instruments within the listed options after selecting X-Rite Devices, use this link to download and install i1Diagnostics which will allow the drivers to be loaded on to your system.

Here you should have a list of instruments, click on ColorMunki Lite or i1Display and click Next to continue the installation.

Select Browse My Computer for this Software > Let me Pick from the List > X-Rite Devices and next.

Right click on the “ColorMunki Lite” and select Update Driver Software.

If monitoring is enabled, it loads that library and the service WinRing0 cannot be created.

Open Device Manager and plug the instrument into the System, you would see the ColorMunki Lite appear in the device manager tree. This is not a fix, but is what I found: it seems that it conflicts with LibreHardwareMonitorLib.dll from app3.0.6.9 folder of NiceHash.

If you continue having issues you will need to manually install it by following these instructions: Installing the software on a Windows system was fine but the device driver will not install or the instrument is not being recognized.If you are unable to install the device driver for your ColorMunki Smile the first thing you will want to do is use the link here and try installing X-Rite Device Services (XRD) which is used along with the driver:Īfter this has installed and the system is rebooted, plug the device in and you should now be able to install the device driver when prompted.
